Progressive Recruitment is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer in Clevedon to lead a growing team and own complex electrical/electro-mechanical systems in a highly regulated environment.

You will drive engineering standards, governance, product lifecycle support and risk management across multiple programmes while collaborating with manufacturing, service and project teams. Hybrid and flexible working available.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience leading engineers, projects or technical work packages.
• Experience supporting sustaining engineering and product lifecycle activities.

Mansioni

• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of Electrical Engineers.
• Technical ownership of complex electrical systems and sub-systems.
• Supporting sustaining engineering, product upgrades and lifecycle management activities.
• Managing technical risk, design reviews and engineering governance activities.
• Supporting product verification, validation and compliance programmes.
• Leading root cause investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Driving engineering best practice, standardisation and continuous improvement.
• Working closely with manufacturing, service, project and customer-facing teams.
• Supporting engineering change, configuration control and technical documentation activities.
• Reviewing and approving engineering documentation and technical reports.
