What You Will Do:

• Design electrical systems for a variety of standard and special-purpose machinery, ensuring they meet customer specifications and industry standards.
• Create detailed electrical schematics, cabinet layouts, parts lists, and documentation to support manufacturing and assembly.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical and software teams to deliver fully integrated design solutions.
• Select electrical components with an emphasis on standardisation, cost efficiency, and availability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including conducting risk assessments and supporting CE compliance.
• Provide technical support to other departments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Bring:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, ideally within the machinery or automation industry.
• A minimum qualification of HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in electrical CAD software, with AutoCAD Electrical being highly desirable.
• Knowledge of machine safety standards such as BS EN ISO 13849-1 & 2 and BS EN 60204-1.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
