We are hiring on behalf of our client, a leading innovator in industrial automation, for a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in the design and implementation of advanced control systems across machinery and material handling environments.
The successful Electrical Design Engineer will have a genuine passion for smart electrical solutions, with a strong background in automation, PLCs, and modern electrical design tools. Working closely with a skilled team, this role offers both hands-on technical challenges and the chance to work on cutting-edge technologies in a forward-thinking organisation.
£50k salary (depending on experience)
4-day workweek with flexible working culture
Opportunity to work with EPLAN Pro Panel and Rittal automation systems
Design and troubleshoot electrical control systems for industrial machinery and material handling equipment
Lead or support installation and commissioning of electrical systems onsite
Integrate EPLAN Pro Panel into automated wiring system workflows
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative and efficient solutions
Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering
Ideally 3+ years' experience in machinery or material handling environments
Hands-on experience with PLCs, automation systems, and electrical design software
Proficiency in EPLAN is highly desirable
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively across teams and clients
£50,000 salary (dependent on experience)
