Job summary

MJP Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join a leading M&E contractor on a major infrastructure project in West London, starting November 2026. You will take responsibility for delivering on-site electrical packages, coordinating installation teams and ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with the programme and quality standards.

This role requires strong leadership and a proven track record in complex construction

Qualifications

• Previous Electrical Construction Manager or Electrical Site Manager experience.
• Strong electrical building services or infrastructure background.
• Good technical knowledge of electrical installations.
• Experience managing subcontractors and installation teams.
• Strong understanding of site health & safety requirements.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Experience taking electrical packages through testing, commissioning and handover.
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Major infrastructure, rail or complex construction experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day electrical installation activities on site.
• Coordinate electrical subcontractors, supervisors and site labour.
• Plan and sequence electrical works against the construction programme.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Coordinate electrical installations with mechanical, civil and other disciplines.
• Monitor progress, productivity and quality.
• Manage RAMS, permits, inspections and relevant site documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical and installation issues.
• Attend progress and coordination meetings.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and snagging.
• Manage electrical works through to final handover and close-out.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety throughout delivery.
