Job summary

Heated Mechanical Services Ltd in Northolt, Middlesex, seeks an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to lead on a major infrastructure project. You will take responsibility for electrical works on site, coordinating subcontractors and site labour while ensuring safety, quality and programme targets are met.

You will read drawings and specifications, manage RAMS, permits and inspections, and collaborate with project managers and engineers to deliver testing, commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

Experience as Electrical Construction Manager or Electrical Site Manager.
Strong site delivery background in electrical building services or infrastructure.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day delivery of electrical installation works on site.
Coordinate electrical subcontractors, supervisors and site labour.
Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and to required quality.
Review drawings, specifications and installation requirements.
Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, civil and other disciplines.
Monitor progress against programme and identify delays or issues.
Manage RAMS, permits, inspections and site documentation.
Attend coordination, progress and construction meetings.
Work with Project Managers, Engineers and the delivery team.
Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging and handover.

An experienced Electrical Construction Manager is required to join a leading M&E contractor delivering a major infrastructure project in West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Construction Manager with strong site delivery experience to take responsibility for electrical works within a technically demanding, large-scale construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day delivery of electrical installation works on site
Coordinate electrical subcontractors, supervisors and site labour
Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards
Review drawings, specifications and installation requirements
Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, civil and other construction disciplines
Monitor progress against programme and identify potential delays or issues
Manage RAMS, permits, inspections and site documentation
Attend coordination, progress and construction meetings
Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and the wider delivery team
Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging and handover activities
Ensure installations comply with project specifications and relevant industry standards

Requirements

Previous experience as an Electrical Construction Manager or Electrical Site Manager
Strong electrical building services or infrastructure experience
Experience delivering sizeable and technically challenging projects
Good understanding of electrical installation, testing and commissioning
Strong knowledge of health & safety and site management procedures
Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and work packages
Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Strong communication and organisational skills
Experience within major infrastructure, rail, tunnelling or similarly complex projects would be advantageous
