Job summary

Heated Mechanical Services is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to lead the on‑site delivery of a major infrastructure project in West London. You will manage mechanical packages, coordinate subcontractors and installation teams, and drive activities from construction through commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities include reviewing drawings, planning works, coordinating disciplines, monitoring safety and quality, and ensuring timely progress.

Qualifications

• Previous Mechanical Construction Manager or Mechanical Site Manager experience.
• Strong mechanical building services knowledge.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Experience managing subcontractors and installation teams.
• Strong understanding of construction programmes and site coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical installation activities across the project.
• Coordinate subcontractors, supervisors and site labour.
• Plan and sequence works in accordance with the construction programme.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Coordinate mechanical installations with electrical, civil and other disciplines.
• Monitor programme, productivity and quality.
• Manage RAMS, permits, inspections and site documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical and installation issues.
• Attend progress, construction and coordination meetings.
• Manage snagging and remedial works.
• Oversee testing and commissioning activities.
• Drive mechanical packages through to completion and handover.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety throughout delivery.

An experienced Mechanical Construction Manager is required to join a leading M&E contractor delivering a major infrastructure project in West London.

The position will take responsibility for the successful site delivery of mechanical packages, managing subcontractors and installation teams from construction through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

·Major infrastructure, rail or similarly complex project experience would be advantageous.
