Job summary

MJP SOLUTIONS LTD in West London is recruiting an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to lead on-site delivery of major infrastructure M&E packages. The role focuses on coordinating installation teams and subcontractors from construction through commissioning and handover.

You will ensure adherence to programme, quality and safety standards while interfacing with other disciplines to drive packages to completion.

Qualifications

• Experience as Mechanical Construction Manager or Mechanical Site Manager on major infra projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services and installations.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Experience coordinating installation teams and subcontractors.
• Proven ability to drive packages from construction through to commissioning and handover.

• Manage mechanical installation activities across the project.

• Attend progress, construction and coordination meetings.
• Manage snagging and remedial works.
• Oversee testing and commissioning activities.
• Drive mechanical packages through to completion and handover.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety throughout delivery.

An experienced Mechanical Construction Manager is required to join a leading M&E contractor delivering a major infrastructure project in West London.

The position will take responsibility for the successful site delivery of mechanical packages, managing subcontractors and installation teams from construction through to commissioning and handover.

• Previous Mechanical Construction Manager or Mechanical Site Manager experience.
• Strong mechanical building services experience.
• Good technical understanding of mechanical systems and installations.
• Experience managing subcontractors and installation teams.
• Strong understanding of construction programmes and site coordination.Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Experience delivering packages through commissioning and handover.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Major infrastructure, rail or similarly complex project experience would be advantageous.
