Qualifications

  • An NVQ level 3 electrical qualification (or equivalent), 18th Edition electrical City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent.
  • Completed a relevant apprenticeship.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Industrial electrical experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Wiring, installing, maintaining and controlling electrical equipment.
  • Calibrating and maintaining technical analytical equipment.
  • Investigate asset trends and carry out electrical interventions.
  • Assist electrical framework contractors and internal teams.
  • Utilise electrical drawings to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for wiring, installing, maintaining and controlling the high diversity of electrical equipment necessary to treat and distribute water.

  • Calibrating and maintaining technical analytical equipment
  • Investigate asset trends and carry out electrical interventions
  • Assist electrical framework contractors and internal high voltage, optimisation and automation teams
  • Utilise electrical drawings to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • React to technical issues to maintain water supply
What does it take to be an Electrical Asset Technician?
  • An NVQ level 3 electrical qualification (or equivalent), 18th Edition electrical City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent
  • Completed a relevant apprenticeship
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Industrial electrical experience
  • Ability to work standby-by and overtime as necessary

As well as carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on our electrical assets, you will work towards a Licence to Operate Qualification to enable you to operate and maintain water treatment assets and processes.
