About us:

Hedin Automotive London in the UK operates across 4 sites in South London at Brooklands, Croydon, West Bromley, and Dartford. It is 100% privately owned by Hedin Group, the second biggest privately owned Motor Dealer group in the world, operating 300+ car dealerships, 46 brands across 13 countries with approximately 10,000 employees.

Position:

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Corporate sales team, on a permanent basis, with a flexible working pattern and occasional visits to our Dartford Dealership. This is a well-established dealership with big ambitions to grow our Corporate sales.

We are looking for a motivated individual to develop both new and existing Corporate sales opportunities for passenger cars & light commercial customers (approximate mix of 30% cars / 70% vans), working with Mercedes-Benz to maximize opportunities with corporate accounts regionally and nationally.

About you:

You will be a highly motivated sales professional with experience and knowledge in Corporate sales. You will be an excellent communicator with strong prospecting, rapport building, presenting, and negotiation skills. You should be confident working as part of an office team and independently when meeting clients.

About the role (Overview):
  • 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend promotions.
  • Achieve sales objectives, targets, and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Build and maintain strong customer relations.
  • Undertake regular business review meetings with customers to plan their buying opportunities and change cycles.
  • Complete tenders and develop proposals for new opportunities.
  • Promote additional fleet products, services, and solutions.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to record, monitor, and achieve sales objectives.
