Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking Education Assistants to provide one-to-one mentoring and learning support in the homes and community settings of SEND learners across the UK. Roles involve applying the SENse curriculum, focusing on confidence, emotional regulation and key life skills in addition to academics.

We offer flexible hours, in-person, hybrid and community-based opportunities, with ongoing interviews for multiple positions.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working with children or young people with complex needs.
• UK based with right to work; enhanced DBS preferred
• Experience in safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Develop strong, positive relationships with children and young people.
• Provide one-to-one support in homes and community settings with creative activities.
• Support life skills, confidence and independence development.
• Use trauma-informed approaches and flexible strategies for diverse needs.
• Provide feedback to track progress and adapt support when needed
