SENse Learning is hiring multiple Education Assistants to mentor and support young people with SEND across the UK. You will deliver 1:1 learning sessions in homes and community settings, using a holistic curriculum aligned to EHCP goals.

The role emphasizes confidence building, emotional regulation, and life skills development beyond academics. Roles are self-employed, with flexible part-time to full-time hours and varied session locations.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with complex additional needs.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Experience in child-centred, holistic approaches to education and support.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people.
• Provide one-to-one support in homes and community settings with creative activities.
• Support life skills, confidence and independence using trauma-informed approaches.
