Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking Education Mentors to provide one-to-one mentoring and learning support for SEND learners in homes and community settings. You will craft individualized sessions, drawing on holistic approaches to boost confidence and life skills, tailored to each young person’s needs.

Role offers flexible hours and part-time to full-time opportunities, with DBS support and safeguarding best practices.

Qualifications

• DBS check enhanced; 2+ professional references provided or available on request.
• Must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Location: UK-based; remote/online work allowed where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong, positive relationships with children and young people who may have faced challenges.
• Provide one-to-one support in homes and community settings with creative activities.
• Support development of life skills, confidence and independence.
• Use trauma-informed approaches and flexible strategies for diverse needs.
• Provide feedback and reflections to track progress and adapt support.
