Job summary

SENse Learning is hiring Education Assistants in Guildford to provide one-to-one mentoring and learning support for young people with diverse needs in homes and community settings. You will deliver sessions using our EHCP-based curriculum, focusing on confidence, emotional regulation and life skills alongside education.

We welcome dedicated mentors with experience in SEND, ASC/ADHD/SEMH, DBS clearance, and a child-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring or working with children or young people with complex needs.
• Enhanced DBS and two+ professional references preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one mentoring and learning support in homes and community settings.
• Deliver creative, interest-based activities aligned with the EHCP areas.
• Support development of life skills, confidence and independence using trauma-informed approaches.
• Track progress and provide feedback to adapt support as needed.
