Job summary

SENse Learning seeks Education Assistants to mentor and support young people with complex needs in homes and community settings. You will deliver one-to-one sessions, using our EHCP-based curriculum to build confidence, life skills, and emotional regulation.

Roles are flexible across in-person, hybrid, and community-based settings; DBS clearance and 2+ references are required. This is an inclusive, mission-driven opportunity for tutors who want meaningful impact with SEND learners.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people with complex additional needs (e.g. ASC, ADHD, SEMH, EBSA, trauma, PDA, mental health)
• DBS clearance and 2+ professional references required
• Based in the UK with the right to work, remote/online roles included

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one mentoring and learning support in homes and community settings
• Deliver creative and interest-based activities and support holistic development
• Help develop life skills, confidence and independence using trauma-informed approaches
• Track progress and adapt support based on feedback and case progress
