Job summary

Reed Technology is seeking a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to support five schools in the Romford area. The role covers Windows environments, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP, and requires DBS clearance.

The contract runs for three months starting mid-November. You will handle 2nd line support tickets, troubleshoot hardware and software, and assist with system maintenance, backups and asset management across the sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in 1st/2nd Line IT support roles across education environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, AD, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience with Group Policy, Hyper-V/Virtualisation and print management.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to staff across multiple school sites.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and Microsoft-related issues.
• Manage and resolve service desk tickets within agreed timescales.
