Area Sales Manager - Homebased / Field Sales - West Midlands

Up to £33,000 + great bonus, company car & home-based contract

If you're currently working in Field Sales or have the talent to match your ambition to thrive in the biggest and best Food Service sales force, and are passionate about forging a career in sales, we have a fantastic opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our Independent Sales Team.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Role model our Company Values / Purpose
  2. Build and leverage strong customer relationships through a natural curiosity in the independent sector.
  3. Grow and retain customers, delivering profitable volume growth against targets.
  4. Partner with your customers to understand their growth plans, add value, and offer practical solutions and products.
  5. Understand competitor activity and proposals, ensuring you offer the best local solutions to your customers.
  6. Work proactively with the Business Development Manager to understand new customer requirements and ensure a successful handover.
  7. Act as a brand ambassador for Brakes in your local market.

It goes without saying that you're highly service-focused, putting the customer at the heart of everything you do, providing the best solutions to support and enhance their business. You're tenacious and resilient, a self-starter with the drive and determination to succeed, and have demonstrable experience of delivering against targets. You're also self-motivated to develop yourself continuously, seeking improvement by learning from a diverse range of skills and experiences, and engaging with our Learning & Development programmes. Opportunities for career progression are available into various commercial roles.

You'll need to be confident with our modernisation programme and the new technology we are adopting to improve customer experience and performance. Experience with Salesforce is advantageous but not essential.
