Area Sales Manager - Homebased / Field Sales - West Midlands

Salary: Up to £33,000 + great bonus, company car & home-based contract

If you're currently in Field Sales or have the talent to match your ambition to thrive in the Food Service sales force, and are passionate about building a career in sales, we have an excellent opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our Independent Sales Team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Model our Company Values / Purpose
  2. Build and leverage strong customer relationships in the independent sector.
  3. Grow and retain customers, delivering profitable volume growth against targets.
  4. Partner with customers to understand their growth plans, adding value and offering practical solutions and products.
  5. Understand competitor activity and proposals to ensure you offer the best local solutions.
  6. Work proactively with the Business Development Manager on new customer requirements and ensure successful handovers.
  7. Act as a brand ambassador for Brakes in your local market.

You should be highly service-focused, putting the customer at the heart of everything you do, providing the best solutions to support and enhance their business. Be tenacious, resilient, self-motivated, and driven to succeed, with experience in delivering against targets. We value continuous development, so seek to learn from a diverse range of skills and experiences, leveraging our Learning & Development programmes. There are opportunities to progress into various commercial roles to develop your career.

You should also be confident with our modernisation programme and new technology to enhance the customer experience and optimize performance. Experience with Salesforce is advantageous but not essential.
