We are currently recruiting for a General Manager to work with us at a workplace site in Ware.

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead a team of 22 at a lovely B&I site set across two walkable buildings, featuring a coffee shop, staff dining with breakfast and lunch, and vending services.

Location: SG12 0DE

Rate of pay: £45,000 per annum

Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 7am to 3.30pm core hours

Key responsibilities

1. Manage a free issues food offer and drive a programme of vending and staff dining
2. Lead an innovative and controlled product range
3. Support the supply of a free issues coffee programme working with an experienced Barista team
4. Develop and sustain strong working relationships with the relevant clients at the individual business level
5. Ensure that client expectations of food and foodservice are consistently delivered, measured, and aligned with the CH&CO brand
6. Ensure the site achieves the financial targets agreed with the client within the fixed budget parameters
7. Provide effective performance management and appraisals to all Front of House staff and the Head Chef
8. Ensure all staff adhere to company health, hygiene, quality, and safety standards
9. Communicate effectively with the European Hub of the client's business
10. Foster innovation, fun, and drive excellence
