Responsibilities

• Create a stimulating learning environment; prepare materials and arrange base rooms in a way that is safe and conducive to learning
• Deliver engaging and educational activities that align with the early years curriculum
• Act as Key Person for a group of children, overseeing their holistic development, personal care needs and fostering strong partnerships with their families
• Conduct observations to track the development of each child; observe and assess children's performance, behaviour, social development and physical health
• Promote inclusivity and diversity in the base room, ensuring all children feel represented and valued
• Collect and maintain accurate records of children's needs, progress, routines, and interests, and keep parents informed about their child's development
• Lead initiatives aimed at improving overall centre performance, such as quality improvement or innovation projects

Who We're Looking For

• Hold QTS, EYTS or EYPS qualification
• Extensive experience in an early years setting (ideally as a Nursery Teacher or Early Years Teacher)
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and support your team
• Organised and detail-oriented, ensuring smooth daily operations and high-quality care
• Ability to collaborate with diverse staff, families, and community partners from various backgrounds
