Overview

Blackshaw Nursery is a 58 place nursery based in Tooting, caring for children aged 1 to 5 years. We are open Monday - Friday 7am - 6pm (Shifts are worked within these hours).

Role

We are looking for reliable, nurturing, enthusiastic Childcare Practitioners (minimum Level 3 in childcare) to work for us 36 hrs per week.

Salary and Benefits

Starting salary: £25,532 pa + 3% pension contribution.

Annual leave: 22 days + 8 Bank holidays when the nursery is closed. We also close for 2 days a year for staff training.

Main objective

Main objective of the post: To provide high quality childcare for children aged 1-5 years, as transmitted by the Childcare Co-ordinator, in conjunction with staff, in accordance with nursery policies and procedures. To be aware and understand the needs of the users of the nursery, being responsive in the nursery provision.
