Toddletown Godalming, part of the Happy Days Nurseries Group are seeking a kind and friendly Unqualified Nursery Assistant to join their welcoming team.
As an Unqualified Nursery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early experiences of children in our care. You will be responsible for providing a safe, supportive, and enriching environment that fosters childrens development from birth-5. So if you have previous experience working with children, your passion for childcare, creativity, and dedication will make you an essential part of our team.
A pivotal part of the role will be your ability to plan and implement exciting learning opportunities for a group of key children, ensuring your childrens interests and developmental stages are catered to, whilst also ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in our care.

You will therefore collaborate effectively to maintain a clean, safe and organised nursery which has the children and families best interests at heart.
Beyond the care of our children, our families are at the centre of everything we do, therefore our Nursery Assistants will communicate effectively with our families, creating professional relationships and keeping them consistently informed about their childs progress and wellbeing.
Our ideal Nursery Assistant will have an evident passion for making a difference within the sector, with experience within a nursery or other relevant education/early years environment being essential.
A knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and how to implement this effectively (or a willingness to complete training to upskill) with a group of key children will be vital within the role, along with an ability to plan meaningful and educational activities for our children.
Safeguarding our children is of the utmost importance at Happy Days, consequently you will show a strong commitment to well-being and safeguarding of all children in your care and take steps to ensure this is upheld consistently.
Experience with forming positive and professional relationships by communicating effectively with our children, parents and families will be essential and whilst experience within a nursery setting is highly advantageous, all candidates with experience working with children will be considered for this role.
