Early Help MASH Practitioner, Bury

Pay rate – £20.09 per hour

Job Purpose

Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Early Help Practitioner to work in a Multi‑Agency Safeguarding and Support Hub (MASSH) in Bury. This is a vital role in our Early Help service, helping ensure children, young people, and families receive timely and appropriate support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen and triage incoming requests for support to the MASSH.
  • Gather and analyse information from a range of partner agencies.
  • Use the history and lived experiences of children and families to inform decision‑making.
  • Recognise indicators of risk and elevate concerns appropriately in line with safeguarding procedures.
  • Formulate clear, evidence‑based recommendations in line with Bury’s threshold guidance.
  • Produce in‑depth and timely assessments that reflect the needs and strengths of families.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Early Help and how it supports children and families.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate decision making.
  • Contribute to a multi‑agency approach to safeguarding and early intervention.
