Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced business development professional to join our growing international team. The ideal candidate will have extensive B2B experience and a strong network within the industry and region to drive growth with our IP and Cloud-based solutions.

Location: UK/Europe Region

Our goal is to transition global media distribution to cloud solutions, aiming to double our revenue and continue innovating scalable solutions for new connectivity sectors. Opportunities exist in new technology applications and products, providing chances to learn and develop with us.

This is a fixed-term contract role for 12 months.

The Role
  • Engage with named prospect accounts for Media & Broadcast customers, focusing on IP and Cloud solutions.
  • Establish and grow contacts across all levels, from C-Suite to operational staff, developing detailed knowledge of these customers.
  • Strategically plan across the region, prospect new clients, gather market intelligence, and contribute strategic input to product development. Approximately 70% of the time will be spent on direct sales and business development, including channel sales and partner development.
  • Manage pipeline and lead pitches, involving SMEs as needed. Focus areas include hybrid CDN, smart advertising, head-end services, video operations, content processing, and distribution technologies. Promote existing products like Arqplex and Arqade, with potential sales into pay TV platforms, broadcasters, streaming platforms, telcos, and content owners.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM system (Salesforce), demonstrating a pipeline and opportunities to meet or exceed targets.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Commercial & Strategic Planning to negotiate and execute new contracts following governance protocols.
  • Coordinate handovers to Account Management teams according to transition principles.
The Person
  • Proven impactful business development experience in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders up to C-Suite level.
  • Established network within the media and broadcast industry in Europe.
  • Experience with CRM systems in structured sales environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for presentations and business cases.
  • Strong understanding of customer service principles.
