Construction Business Development Manager

An electrical contractor that specializes in full installations and temporary electrical site services. Well established for over 40 years, they have depots nationwide and now require a Construction Business Development Manager to expand their services within Construction Contractors. The role is based in Liverpool/North Wales, covering the North West of England.

The company is already successful, working with prominent construction contractors such as Mace, Skanska, Kier, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with senior buyers, commercial managers, quantity surveyors, and contracts managers within medium to large construction contractors.
• Organize and follow up on leads to generate new business.
• Manage existing accounts with Tier 1 contractors.
• Understand how building sites operate and have knowledge of selling into them, specifically selling temporary site services or hire solutions into construction contractors.
• Sell temporary site electrics to Tier 1 contractors and foster long-lasting business relationships.

Qualifications

• Living within a commutable distance of Liverpool.
• Full UK driving license.
• Proven sales experience within construction or electrics.
• Experience selling into Tier 1 contractors.
• Background in sales, especially in temporary site services or hire solutions into Tier 1 construction.

Compensation

Basic salary of £40,000 - £50,000, plus a 10% bonus and car allowance.
