To be successful in this role you’ll need to be self motivated and have a passion for being a business partner of choice in the market, with previous optical knowledge.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Developing sales in the Regional Key Accounts
  • Ensuring the Area Sales force meets the set turnover and profitability targets
  • Developing existing customer base and distribution channels to improve brand distribution
  • Reporting on performance to recognize successes and address weaknesses
  • Collaborating with Marketing to develop promotional campaigns supporting profitable growth
  • Supporting the Key Accounts team to implement sales initiatives successfully
  • Establishing increased distribution and developing new customers and routes
  • Working with Supply Chain to improve customer service and market leadership
  • Enhancing IT use within the sales force for better communication and control
  • Continuously improving customer service standards

To Succeed In This Role, You Should Have

  • Qualification in an Optical related subject or extensive sales experience
  • Degree in a business-related subject or similar
  • Professional qualification in optics or membership of a professional body

Essential Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in sales, including senior management roles
  • Proven success in growth initiatives and target achievement
  • Experience motivating and developing sales teams
  • Background in B2B sales

Preferred Skills

  • Experience selling to retail outlets
  • High motivation, adaptability, and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Knowledge of dispensing, Hoya lenses, and competitor lenses
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce.com)
