Confidential in Strood, Kent, is seeking an E-commerce Manager to lead the digital storefront, optimise customer journeys, and oversee online operations on a hybrid basis.

You will drive growth through merchandising, manage promotions, collaborate with online agencies, and enhance UX to improve conversions and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience managing an e-commerce store or online business.
• Strong understanding of online sales funnels and digital merchandising.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data to optimise campaigns.
• Copywriting skills with a B2C marketing focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise the e-commerce website (products, pricing, content, promotions).
• Collaborate with online agencies to drive growth and engagement.
• Oversee online orders and fulfilment workflows with operations teams.
• Monitor website and campaign performance, customer behaviour and conversations.
• Handle customer inquiries related to online orders and gifting experiences.
• Identify opportunities to improve UX, sales and customer satisfaction.

Job description

We are working with our client based in Strood Kent to recruit an E-commerce Manager to work on a hybrid basis.

The role:

Our client is seeking a strategic thinker with strong Management skills and a passion for digital Marketing to drive growth and engagement. The person should be strategic, organised, creative and results driven in order to oversee the company's digital presence and day to day online operations. The role will be to head up and to grow the e-commerce platforms, improve the customer journeys to ensure the online store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• -Manage and optimise the e-commerce website- products, pricing, content, promotions.
• -Work with the online agencies to drive growth and engagement
• -oversee online orders, fulfilment workflows and coordination with operations teams.
• -monitor website performance, campaign performance, conversations and customer behaviour.
• -Handle customer inquiries related to online orders and gifting experiences
• -Identify opportunities to improve UX, Sales and customer satisfaction.

What our client is looking for:

• Proven experience managing an e-commerce store or online business
• Strong understanding of online sales funnels/digital merchandising
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret date to optimise campaigns.
• Skilled in Copywriting with an understanding of B2 C marketing strategies.
