Were looking for an experienced e-commerce professional, ideally from an engineering, industrial, or manufacturing background, to join one of the largest and most respected manufacturers of trade, professional and industrial equipment, both throughout the UK and worldwide.

As the e-commerce Business Development Manager, youll be responsible for creating and delivering an e-commerce business growth strategy. Youll develop and present plans that will drive business through Amazon and non-Amazon internet platforms, as well as delivering a white label direct to end user sales operation.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a successful e-commerce business growth strategy
  • Support the salesforce to deliver business growth with existing internet based accounts
  • Develop business opportunities with internet specialists that do not necessarily sell machinery
  • Identify active internet sellers in product markets, other than those featuring similar type product groups
  • Identify and target competitor internet routes to market
  • Work with internal sales to execute follow up of Internet initiatives
  • Work with Marketing to maximise digital capability as part of the e-commerce Strategy
  • Provide regular progress updates to the head of department and the wider senior leadership team

A significant portion of your KPIs will be based on the sales value and profit of the business generated via e-commerce, across both new and existing customers.

To succeed in this role, youll need demonstrable experience within an e-commerce role, where youve been able to successfully implement a strategic plan to generate results.
