Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a Full-Time Teaching Assistant in the B45 area to start ASAP. You will support pupils within the classroom, work with the teacher to differentiate learning, and provide targeted 1:1 and small group support.

The role involves promoting positive behaviour and helping with daily routines. Ideal candidates have experience with children, a proactive, adaptable mindset, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable.
• Positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils within the classroom environment.
• Working closely with the class teacher to support learning and development.
• Providing 1:1 and small group support where required.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
• Assisting with classroom preparation and daily routines.
