Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting for a Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in the B28 area, with an immediate start and long-term commitment. You will work under the guidance of the class teacher, supporting pupils with learning and development and delivering targeted 1:1 and small group interventions to promote engagement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable.
• Positive, patient, and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils across the classroom environment.
• Working closely with the class teacher to support learning and development.
• Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions where required.
• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement.
• Assisting with classroom resources and daily routines.
