Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a Full-Time Teaching Assistant for the B14 area to start ASAP. You will support pupils across the classroom, work with the class teacher and deliver 1:1 and small group interventions to promote learning and positive behaviour.

Ideal candidates have experience with children, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and are proactive. DBS Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required, and you must have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable.
• Positive, patient, and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils across the classroom environment.
• Working closely with the class teacher to support learning and development.
• Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions where required.
