Job summary

Aspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the B45 area on a full-time, long-term basis, starting as soon as possible.

Supporting pupils within the classroom environment, working closely with the class teacher to support learning and development, providing 1:1 and small group support where required, encouraging positive behaviour and pupil engagement, and assisting with classroom preparation and daily routines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable.
• Positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils within the classroom environment.
