Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting a Full-Time Teaching Assistant in the B45 area to join a welcoming school on a long-term basis, starting as soon as possible. You will support pupils in the classroom, work with the class teacher, and provide 1:1 or small group support to foster learning and engagement.

The role requires a positive, proactive attitude, strong communication, and DBS compliance. Aspire People offers dedicated consultant support, local school opportunities, CPD, and potential permanent

Qualifications

Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable
Positive, proactive and adaptable attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

Supporting pupils within the classroom environment
Working closely with the class teacher to support learning and development
Providing 1:1 and small group support where required
Encouraging positive behaviour and pupil engagement
Assisting with classroom preparation and daily routines
