Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting a passionate and reliable Teaching Assistant to join a friendly school in the B13 area on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. You will support pupils in the classroom, work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons, provide 1:1 and small group support, and promote positive behaviour and wellbeing.

Right to work in the UK is required. Aspire People Limited provides safeguarding commitments and ongoing CPD, with dedicated consultant

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
• Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils in the classroom to achieve their full potential.
• Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons.
• Providing 1:1 and small group support where required.
• Promoting positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing.
• Assisting with classroom preparation and daily activities.
