Job summary

Aspire People are seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in the B28 area on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. You will support pupils across the classroom, work with the class teacher, and deliver focused 1:1 and small group interventions to boost learning and development.

The role requires a positive, patient, and proactive approach, with excellent communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a school setting is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across the classroom environment.
• Work closely with the class teacher to support learning and development.
• Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions where required.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement.
• Assist with classroom resources and daily routines.
