Job summary

Academics Ltd. is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher for a supply role in Newcastle-under-Lyme. You will teach a mixed Year 2/3 class of 29 pupils, starting after October half term 2026. The initial booking is 12 weeks, with planning, assessment and dynamic lesson delivery to support progress and wellbeing.

You will be a confident educator with QTS, able to differentiate and manage a mixed-age class in KS1/KS2, delivering engaging lessons and building a positive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS with experience in primary schools.
• Confident teaching mixed Year 2/3 groups.
• Ability to differentiate lessons for varied abilities.

Responsibilities

• Full class teacher responsibilities across Year 2/3.
• Plan, prepare, assess and manage the classroom.
