Job summary

Academics are supporting a primary school in Newcastle-under-Lyme that is seeking a mixed Year 2 & Year 3 Teacher to cover for 12 weeks starting after the October half-term.

You must hold UK QTS and have strong knowledge of the upper KS1 and lower KS2 curricula; you will plan and deliver well-structured lessons and manage a full class.

DBS checks and safeguarding are required; daily rate depends on experience and client pay policy.

Qualifications

• Must have UK QTS and excellent knowledge of the upper Key Stage 1 and lower Key Stage 2 curricula.
• Able to plan and deliver well-structured and engaging lessons.
• Strong behaviour management skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Hold full class responsibilities and plan/deliver engaging lessons.
• Work with mixed age/year groups in Year 2 & Year 3.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment and safeguarding.
