Job summary

Academics is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher for a supply teaching opportunity in Newcastle-under-Lyme (ST5). You will teach a mixed Year 2/3 class of 29 pupils, starting after October half term 2026, with an initial 12-week booking and potential to extend.

You will take on full class teacher responsibilities, including planning, assessment, and delivering engaging lessons to support progress. The ideal candidate will have QTS, primary experience, and strong classroom management.

Academics are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher for a supply teaching opportunity at a welcoming primary school in the Newcastle-under-Lyme (ST5) area.

Starting after October half term 2026, this role will involve teaching a mixed Year 2/3 class of 29 pupils, including a group of higher-attaining Year 2 children learning alongside Year 3 pupils. The initial booking is for 12 weeks, offering an excellent opportunity for a confident teacher who enjoys adapting lessons to meet the needs of a mixed-age class.

You will take on full class teacher responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment, classroom management and delivering engaging lessons that support pupils' progress and development.
