Job summary

Parkdean Resorts UK Limited is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our busy culinary team across our parks. You will wash, prep and assist with basic food preparation, while helping maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment for quick, high‑quality service to guests.

You'll work closely with Head Chef and Sous Chefs, adapt to busy periods, and participate in training to develop your skills and career within our holiday parks network.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced kitchen experience preferred.
• Basic food preparation skills required.
• Willingness to complete Food Hygiene Level 2 training if needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel and prep ingredients for service.
• Receive deliveries and check stock quality and expiry dates.
• Rotate stock to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
• Keep kitchen clean and hygienic, including appliances and surfaces.
• Support chefs with basic food prep tasks as directed.
• Communicate clearly to ensure smooth service.
• Report any security or safeguarding concerns.
