Job summary

EVP Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Service Planning & Scheduling Coordinator to join a growing engineering service operation in the United Kingdom. You will take ownership of engineer scheduling, workload planning and resource coordination to deliver excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates will have experience planning mobile engineers or field-based teams, strong organisation and communication skills, and proficiency with ERP or scheduling software.

Qualifications

• Experience in service planning or scheduling in a mobile/field service environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering activities across planned maintenance, commissioning and reactive service work.
• Plan and schedule engineering resources to meet customer and operational needs.
• Manage engineer diaries and maintain forward workload visibility.
• Coordinate planned maintenance visits, reactive call-outs and commissioning activities.
• Monitor engineer availability, travel requirements and resource utilisation.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and support resolution.
• Manage incoming service enquiries and allocate work.
• Coordinate service quotation requests and track progress.
• Maintain accurate planning information in service management systems.
• Support service administration, reporting and documentation.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure efficient delivery of service activities.
• Contribute to development of planning processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
