QinetiQ Limited seeks a 2nd Line Support Engineer for its Malvern site. You will join a skilled, cross-functional team delivering support engineering as a service across multiple services.

The role focuses on Windows/Linux environments, incident resolution, system maintenance and change implementation in a secure environment. Day-to-day work includes documenting procedures, collaborating with customers and vendors, and contributing to availability, security and performance of critical systems.

Formación

• 3+ years in IT/2nd line support or infrastructure support.
• Experience administering Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, firewalls.
• Experience patching, maintaining and supporting enterprise systems.
• Experience with ITSM and Service Desk tools in ITIL-aligned environments.
• Understanding of cloud concepts and modern IT operations.

Responsabilidades

• Resolve incidents and service requests across IT services and technologies.
• Support system administration, maintenance, patching and configuration activities.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors and internal teams for timely resolution.
