Job summary

SSP is seeking a Duty Manager for Glasgow Central Station. You will open, close, and run daily operations, leading a team through busy shifts and delivering great customer service. The role offers an energetic, fast-paced environment with development opportunities, and requires leadership experience in hospitality or retail.

Shifts are full-time (30+ hours) with a pattern across weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The company provides employee discounts and training programs to help you progress.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in hospitality or retail environments.

• Age requirement: 18+ for certain tasks/shifts.

Responsibilities

• Open and close daily operations, handle issues on the fly.
• Lead the team during busy shifts to maintain high energy and a positive atmosphere.
• Be the go-to person for customer and team queries and support.
• Monitor unit performance and champion improvements.
• Previous team leadership in a busy hospitality or retail setting is ideal.

DUTY MANAGER - TORTILLA, GLASGOW CENTRAL STATION

Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour + as a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.50 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6 am, bringing your rate of pay to £15.25 per hour.

Shift Pattern: Full-Time (30+ hrs). Shifts between6am, any 5 shifts out of 7. Working flexiblyacross weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.

• Due to some responsibilities within the Bar Supervisorrole, applicants willneed to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.
