Marine Resources Limited is seeking an experienced Duty Manager for a busy marina on the River Hamble. You will work closely with the Marina Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a small team and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for berth holders and visitors.

You will be responsible for shift rotas, delivering high standards of customer service, driving berth occupancy and coordinating with on-site tenants and stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• Proven track record of leading, coaching and mentoring a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
• Practical, balanced decision making and problem solving abilities.
• Experience of environmental and health and safety management is required.
• A full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK are essential.

Are you an experienced marina professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service? We’re recruiting on behalf of an established marina operator looking for a Duty Manager to join its team at a busy marina on the River Hamble.

Working closely with the Marina Manager, you’ll help oversee the day-to-day running of the site, supporting the team and ensuring a safe, welcoming and well-maintained environment for berth holders, visitors and on-site businesses.

Key Responsibilites:

• Support the Marina Manager in running the site safely and efficiently.
• Maintain and improve standards of customer service and marina facilities.
• Take responsibility for site operations as Duty Manager on an agreed rota.
• Maximise berth occupancy and identify opportunities to grow revenue across the marina’s income streams.
• Lead, coach and develop the team, delegating effectively and communicating business updates.
• Build strong relationships with customers, on-site tenants and other stakeholders.
• Support environmental and health and safety management across the site.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential, with a proven track record of leading, coaching and mentoring a team. You’ll need strong communication skills, the ability to work with a range of stakeholders and a practical, balanced approach to decision making and problem solving. Experience of environmental and health and safety management is also required, alongside a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. A full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK are essential.

This permanent role involves shift working, including weekends and bank holidays, with flexibility around start and finish times during busy periods. You’ll also participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota and must be able to attend the marina in an emergency during your duty week.
