Job summary

Everybody Health and Leisure is seeking a Duty Manager to help run our busy leisure centre in a safe, efficient and customer-focused way.

You will lead a shift, oversee day-to-day operations, manage bookings and liaise with teams to maintain high standards of service and safety, while contributing to our quality accreditations. The role offers a hands-on leadership position within a supportive community-focused charity.

• Overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure services run efficiently.
• Leading the team on shift and supporting a positive, customer-focused working environment.
• Taking responsibility for health and safety, customer care and incident management.
• Managing bookings, supporting financial processes and ensuring compliance with centre procedures.
• Contributing to external accreditations such as Quest and Investors in People.
• Completing site‑specific checks and maintaining high operational standards across all areas.

No two days are the same and the role offers the opportunity to develop strong operational and leadership skills within a busy leisure environment.
