Job summary

SSP Group is hiring a Duty Manager to lead busy hospitality operations across our sites in the United Kingdom. You’ll open and close shifts, manage daily service, and inspire your team to deliver great customer experiences.

With 30 hours per week and rates of £13.61 per hour, you’ll work flexibly across weekdays, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment alongside iconic brands. Previous leadership in hospitality or retail is ideal.

Qualifications

• Hospitality moves fast—leadership, energy, and a proactive approach are essential.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform certain shifts/tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of opening, closing, and daily operations.
• Lead the team through busy shifts with high energy and a positive atmosphere.
• Inspire the team to deliver great customer service and be the go-to for queries.
• Monitor unit performance and champion improvements.
• Previous team leadership in Hospitality or Retail is ideal.

Hours of operation are 7:00am to 10:00pm. working flexibly on weekdays, weekends, Bank and public holidays.

ABOUT YOU:

• Due to some responsibilities within theDuty Managerrole, applicants willneed to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.

ABOUT THE DUTY MANAGER ROLE:

• Take ownership of opening, closing, and daily operations while solving problems on the fly.
• Lead your team through busy shifts, keeping the energy high and the atmosphere positive.
• Inspire your team to deliver great customer service, be the go-to person for customer and team queries.
• Results focussed, staying informed about unit performance and championing improvements.
• Previous experience leading a team in busy Hospitality or Retail is ideal.
