Job summary

Chewton Glen, a prestigious Hampshire hotel, is seeking a Duty Manager to uphold guest wellbeing and ensure the smooth running of the hotel during shifts. You will lead with warm hospitality, be the face of the team at daily briefings, and coordinate across departments to deliver outstanding service.

In return, the role offers a competitive salary of £35,533.36 per year plus £4,500 Tronc, accommodation if required, free team meals and generous staff discounts.

Job description

We are looking for a Duty Manager to join our team at our award-winning hotel in Hampshire.

Chewton Glen is a true English original. From the unique 72 bedrooms including 14 one of a kind Treehouses, to the award-winning newly refurbished spa and state of the art James Martin cookery school, it has an abundance of ways to revive your senses. The blissful 130 acres of woodland are home to an indoor and outdoor tennis centre, a 9-hole golf course, heritage orchard, 70 working beehives, a walled kitchen garden, croquet lawn and more.

Aim of the Duty Manager:

To ensure the well-being of all guests during their time at the hotel and maintaining a high level of host presence throughout to ensure the overall smooth running of the hotel at all times when on duty.

Confidence in dealing with guests, managers and colleagues
You will be adept at multitasking
You will have a keen eye for detail, organisational skills and confident in communicating with the team
