Job summary

Iconic Hotels & Resorts – Cliveden House in Berkshire seeks an experienced Duty Manager to lead the team and safeguard exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee front-of-house, assist other departments, and keep operations running smoothly in a luxury setting.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, problem-solving, and a hands-on approach to guest inquiries, with a keen eye for safety and seamless coordination across teams.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in hospitality, preferably in Food & Beverage and Front of House.
• Hands-on leader who guides teams across departments and maintains high service standards.
• Strong organisational skills, proactive problem solving and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to ensure prompt service and guest guidance.
• Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues and uphold guest satisfaction.
• Manage schedules and coordinate with departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain safety and security standards across the property.

Duty Manager

We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Hotel Duty Manager to join our dedicated team at Cliveden House. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to ensure exceptional guest experiences. We are looking for an individual with strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of hospitality.

Our ideal candidate should:

• Have a proven track record ideally in both Food & Beverage and Front of House, with experience in assisting all departments.
• Lead by example, ensuring all guests receipt prompt service and guidance accordingly
• Embrace a hands-on approach, handling guest inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, managing schedules, and coordinating with various departments
• Show a commitment to maintaining safety and security
• Display a keen understanding of hotel operations and a proactive mindset in identifying areas for improvement
• Be adaptable and quick-thinking, effectively managing unexpected situations and emergencies
• Prioritise guest satisfaction and consistently strive to exceed expectations to ensure memorable experiences at Cliveden House
