Job summary

Chewton Glen in Hampshire is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee guest wellbeing and the smooth running of the hotel during your shift. You will maintain faultless hotel knowledge, greet guests warmly, and ensure prompt, attentive service for all visitors.

The role offers a £35,533.36 annual salary plus £4,500 Tronc, accommodation if needed, free team meals, Friends & Family rates at Iconic Luxury Hotels, 25% discount on Food & Beverage, and a cycle-to-work scheme. Start from January 2027.

Qualifications

• Confidence in dealing with guests and colleagues.
• Adept at multitasking and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Be prepared for every shift with faultless hotel knowledge.
• Attend daily briefings to learn about special occasions, requirements and VIP guests.
• Welcome and bid farewell to all visitors in a warm and professional manner.
• Ensure all guests receive prompt service and guidance, and handle requests and complaints.
• Take ownership in the smooth running of all departments during your shift.
