Job summary

Nuffield Health Bridgend Fitness & Wellbeing Club is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee the smooth operation of the club on a part-time basis. You will engage with members, drive sales, and lead staff while upholding service and safety standards.

The role requires strong communication, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to delivering an exceptional member experience. Lifeguard duties may be required during shifts.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable sales experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Collaborative, proactive attitude.
• Willing to undergo Lifeguard training if required.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the smooth running of the club; opening and closing when on shift.
• Prioritise member satisfaction and engage with members to build relationships.
• Lead by example and support colleagues while maintaining high standards.
• Conduct tours for prospective members and highlight benefits of Nuffield Health.
• Oversee health and safety protocols and address issues swiftly.
• Help achieve sales targets.
• Support Lifeguard coverage when required.

Bridgend FWC | Fitness & Wellbeing Club | Permanent contract | Part time

Up to £28,038.40 pro rata depending on experience plus sales commission

16 hours per week

As a Duty Manager at our gym, you’ll bring demonstrable sales experience and the ability to quickly get to grips with our business. You’re enthusiastic, with excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit. You have a ‘can do’ attitude and you share our passion for excellent customer service.

As a Duty Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for the smooth running of our club; including the opening and closing the club when on shift


• Prioritize Member Satisfaction, Engage with our members, fostering happiness and building strong relationships.


• Lead by example, support and guide your colleagues while upholding the highest quality standards.


• Conduct tours for prospective members, highlighting the unique benefits that only Nuffield Health provides


• Oversee health and safety protocols, addressing any issues swiftly and effectively.


• Help achieve sales targets


• Be able to swim to a high standard and be willing to undergo training at site, due to covering Lifeguard breaks
