Registered Dual Homes Manager – Children’s Residential Services
Location: Walsall
Salary: £55,000 (rising to £57,500 upon Ofsted registration) + £3,000 annual bonus
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday, with occasional additional hours as required)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Registered Dual Homes Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our two fully operational therapeutic (EBD) residential children’s homes in Walsall. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to lead and develop high-quality services that make a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable young people whilst maintaining standards within Ofsted framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strong, effective leadership and management across both homes
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements including the Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted expectations
• Deliver and maintain high standards of care and safeguarding for all young people
• Drive continuous improvement and foster a positive, therapeutic environment
• Take part in the on-call rota to support the homes as needed

Requirements:

• Previous Ofsted registration experience is essential
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role within a children’s residential care setting
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or Children, Young People and Families Manager
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, regulatory compliance, and therapeutic care principles

Salary & Benefits:

• Competitive starting salary of £55,000, increasing to £57,500 upon Ofsted registration
