A bit about the job:

We’re looking for a DUA Underwriting Assistant to join our growing Delegated Authority team. You’ll play a key role in supporting our underwriters and helping the team deliver exceptional service to brokers and customers. This role is all about driving operational improvements, supporting growth, and taking ownership of your development. You’ll be part of a collaborative hub that’s central to our success in Global Corporate & Specialty team.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
  • Experience in building strong, positive relationships with colleagues and external partners.
  • Good negotiating, numerical, and verbal reasoning skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing.
  • Previous underwriting experience isn’t essential – full training will be provided.
  • Experience in Financial Services, Risk, or similar would be an advantage.
